About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Working Student to support our logistics and operations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing our material flow processes, maintaining warehouse master data, and supporting our supply chain planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and optimize material flow processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date warehouse master data, including areas, storage locations, and types
- Support the creation of supplier and customer packing instructions and determination records for empties handling
- Assist with material supply planning for assembly plants and support monthly evaluations
- Participate in logistical optimization projects and workshops to drive continuous improvement
- Support the creation and training of process descriptions to ensure clear understanding and adherence
- Collaborate with the storage service provider to oversee and control container management
Requirements:
- Enrolled in commercial studies for at least 1 year, e.g. Business administration, industrial engineering, and comparable
- Knowledge of automotive business and logistics processes
- Proficient in MS Office and SAP R/3 skills are advantageous
- Excellent German and English language skills, with further languages desirable
- Strong analytical thinking, organizational, and prioritization skills
- Eager to learn and improve, with assertiveness and customer-oriented behavior
