Category Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Category Manager to join our Aviation Team at Adecco Personaldienstleistungen GmbH. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for shaping and leading the supply chain for aircraft structure and interiors parts.
As a Category Manager, you will contribute to the development and implementation of procurement strategies and policies aligned with our company's overarching strategy. You will also be responsible for sourcing processes, including market assessment, supplier selection, and contracting.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies to drive business growth and efficiency
- Lead sourcing processes, including market assessment, supplier selection, and contracting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure business continuity
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to drive innovation and cost savings
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a technical field
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in procurement and supplier management
- Experience in contracting in the aerospace or automotive sectors
- Excellent analysis and evaluation skills with a drive to challenge the status quo
- Fluent English language skills
