IT Financial Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Financial Controller to join our team at Siemens AG. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in driving cost-efficient decisions and fostering an entrepreneurial mindset within our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Service Owners and IT Finance Community: Work closely with our service owners and the IT Finance community to promote an entrepreneurial mindset and drive cost-efficient decisions.
- Commercial Management of IT Infrastructure Providers: Support in aspects related to the commercial management of our IT infrastructure providers, including defining internal value flows, handling budgeting, forecasting, invoice management, and stakeholder relations.
- Point of Contact for Stakeholders: Serve as a point of contact for stakeholders, including internal customers, taxes, and accounting, ensuring smooth communication and effective coordination.
- Process Optimization: Optimize finance-related processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, and support sustainable process automation.
- Data Analysis and Strategic Decision-Making: Analyze and connect financial and non-financial data from different systems to support strategic decision-making.
- Education and Experience: Hold a Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, management, IT, or equivalent, and have first years of expertise in controlling, encompassing accounting, closing, and tax, with a holistic end-to-end perspective.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Office, SAP, and BI solutions.
- Professional Experience: Ideally, possess professional experience in finance within the IT sector.
- Soft Skills: Demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset and a proactive approach to driving change, enjoy working collaboratively in teams, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Language Skills: Fluent in both German and English.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Solution-oriented with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
