Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to join our Blockchain Applications team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing services within the Azure Cloud environment, ensuring the smooth operation and technical availability of our applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop fully automated release pipelines for our components, working closely with the Development and Cloud Infrastructure teams.
  • Monitor the operation and technical availability of our applications, automating system monitoring and troubleshooting processes.
  • Advise Product Owners, Tech Leads, and other stakeholders on the design of new products, leveraging your expertise in release management and test & deployment automation.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement Kubernetes clusters, Terraform, Shell Scripting, and Git.
  • Configure and manage monitoring and alerting services, including Log Analytics Workspaces, Application Insights, Container Insights, Prometheus, Grafana, Opsgenie, and Postman.
  • Design and manage network services such as Virtual Networks, NAT, Firewalls, Private Link, Front Door, Web Application Firewall (WAF), and DNS.
  • Ensure strong emphasis on security practices and principles in all aspects of work.
  • Develop and implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) processes using Azure DevOps pipelines.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest blockchain technologies and trends, with a strong emphasis on security and compliance.
Requirements
  • Several years of experience in DevOps, release management, application operations, and software development.
  • Demonstrate expertise in designing, developing, and managing services within the Azure Cloud environment.
  • Proven experience in building, deploying, and operating Kubernetes clusters.
  • Strong knowledge of Terraform, Shell Scripting, and Git.
  • Experience configuring and managing monitoring and alerting services.
  • Skilled in designing and managing network services.
  • Strong emphasis on security practices and principles.
  • In-depth understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) processes.
  • Ideally in-depth experience with APIs, automated testing of APIs, staging concepts, blue/green deployment, and code analysis tools.
  • Enthusiasm for blockchain technologies; blockchain knowledge is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • English (>B1), ideally Germany (>A2).
