We, Boxdorfer Ceramic GmbH, are a well-established trading company in the fields of tiles, natural stones, building chemicals, and more. We see ourselves as a system supplier for the construction and trade industry and trendsetters in the private customer sector.

We are looking for a Team Leader Procurement (m/w/d) in full-time at our location in Burgkunstadt.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchasing of tiles, natural stones, and other building materials.
  • Lieferantenmanagement: Selection and evaluation of national and international suppliers in collaboration with the management and sales team.
  • Implementation of the operational ordering process together with the team under the guidance of their team leader.
  • Negotiation of conditions and framework agreements, etc.
  • Coordination of logistical processes.
  • Inventory management, disposition, and active participation in the optimization of warehouse and costs in our branches.
  • Selection of the product range in consultation with sales and management.
  • Coordination of the stocking and design of our exhibitions at home and on-site at resellers in collaboration with sales.
  • Further expansion of our national and international procurement relationships (e.g., visiting significant international product fairs).
  • Part-time takeover of sales activities for private and commercial customers in the internal sales department after training.

Requirements:

  • You have a solid commercial and/or technical education and are proficient in your procurement field. Verbal skills, organizational skills, and a high cost awareness are not foreign to you.
  • A few years of professional experience in the fields of tile and/or building material trade are seen as an advantage.
  • You are characterized by an open, independent, and collegial way of working.
  • Contact skills, self-initiative, and teamwork are essential for the successful handling of future tasks. First leadership experience is beneficial.
  • You are familiar with common IT tools (ERP systems, Office products).
  • You are the 'doer-type', not afraid of the constant change processes in a company, willing to take on new tasks, and find good solutions.
  • Basic knowledge of foreign languages, especially English, is desirable.
  • Occasional willingness to travel is required.
