About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Supply Chain Planner to join our team at Pandora. As a Junior Supply Chain Planner, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining accurate demand forecasts to ensure optimal inventory levels and meet customer demand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demand Forecasting: Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using statistical models and market intelligence.
- Forecast Accuracy: Continuously monitor forecast accuracy, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to improve forecast reliability.
- Inventory Management: Ensure optimal inventory levels by aligning demand forecasts with inventory planning and management strategies.
- Data Analysis: Analyze sales data, market trends, and historical performance to identify patterns and make data-driven forecasting decisions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with assignment planning, MFP, sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to gather insights and incorporate them into demand forecasts.
- Reporting: Provide insights on forecast accuracy, demand trends, and inventory levels for management review.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in demand planning and implement best practices.
Requirements:
- Education: Hold a university degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Statistics, or a similar field.
- Experience: Have at least 1-3 years of experience in demand planning.
- Skills: Possess a strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Be precise in reviewing data and forecasts to ensure accuracy. Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Software Proficiency: Be proficient in Microsoft Excel and demand planning software, and familiar with business intelligence tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
