The Power Management Validation Specialist is tasked with assessing the performance of Power Management Integrated Circuits (ICs) within a controlled laboratory setting. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of the IC's functional specifications, the ability to develop validation methodologies, and the creation of detailed test plans. Responsibilities include establishing test environments, programming test cases, executing validation protocols, analyzing results, and compiling validation documentation within specified timelines. The primary objective is to enhance the automation of the validation testing framework for Digital Power solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough testing of Power Management ICs in a lab environment.
- Develop and implement validation strategies and test plans.
- Set up and maintain test benches for effective validation.
- Code and execute test cases, ensuring comprehensive coverage.
- Analyze test data and prepare detailed validation reports.
- Collaborate with the cross-site Validation Automation Group, providing insights and support.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in post-silicon validation.
- Strong understanding of power management systems and applications.
- Proficient knowledge of voltage regulation and measurement techniques.
- Experience in lab automation and proficiency in Python programming.
- Background in circuit design and troubleshooting.
- Results-driven with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
