Lead Linux Systems Architect (m/w/d)
- Oversee the management of System Administrators within the 'Cloud Based Platforms' Competence Team.
- Design and enhance our automation and container-based solutions.
- Plan, develop, optimize, and implement tailored system solutions for our business and educational clients.
- Secure and harden both central and decentralized Linux systems.
- Monitor provided services effectively.
- Create scripts and playbooks for automation solutions in server environments.
- Drive digital transformation in the education sector.
- Willingness to participate in on-call duties as needed.
- Completed training as an IT specialist (or equivalent) with at least 5 years of professional experience.
- Extensive experience in managing and operating Linux systems.
- Proficient in process automation using Ansible or similar tools.
- Strong technical understanding, service-oriented mindset, and a structured, meticulous work approach.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team. Fluent German in both spoken and written form is required.
- Administration of Debian-based Linux distributions in a business context.
- Provisioning of Platform as a Service and Software as a Service.
- Setup and operation of virtual servers on highly available VMware clusters.
- Experience with Ansible, Docker, GIT, and relational databases.
- Monitoring and performance analysis.
- High-availability clusters.
- Networking and firewall management.
- Directory services.
