About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mainframe System Engineer to join our team at Atruvia AG. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the administration, operation, and support of our Mainframe/IBM systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer, operate, and support Mainframe/IBM systems, including installation and process automation.
  • Provide technical 2nd- and 3rd-level support to internal customers from development and testing departments.
  • Ensure the daily batch processing and be prepared to work outside regular working hours in exceptional cases.
  • Collaborate with internal and external customers to ensure the technical alignment of test environments.
  • Take ownership of tasks and identify areas for improvement after onboarding.
Requirements
  • Completed studies in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in Mainframe/IBM systems, including z/OS (TWS, JCL, REXX) and databases (Db2 and Oracle, including SQL).
  • Excellent German language skills (C1 level) and good English language skills (B2 level).
  • Ability to work in a hybrid team environment with the possibility of remote work.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
