Job Title: ESG Risk Management Consultant - Banking Sector

Overview: As an ESG Risk Management Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in guiding financial institutions through the complexities of regulatory compliance with a strong emphasis on sustainability and ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice to financial organizations regarding current regulatory frameworks, ensuring alignment with sustainability objectives.
  • Assist banks, financial service providers, and FinTech companies in navigating European and national ESG regulations, evaluating their implications on operational models, risk assessment, and reporting obligations.
  • Engage in comprehensive sustainability evaluations, ESG categorization, and the application of reporting standards in accordance with EU Taxonomy, Disclosure Regulation (SFDR), and CSRD.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, emphasizing ongoing professional growth and an agile working environment.

Qualifications:

  • A completed degree in Economics, Law, Finance Mathematics, Business Informatics, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant experience (such as internships) in ESG, risk management, or compliance within the banking sector.
  • Proficient communication skills in both German and English.
