Join Our Team as a Junior Controller
At OSB AG, we are looking for a motivated individual to support our Finance and Controlling Manager in various essential tasks that contribute to our company's financial health.
Your Responsibilities:
- Assist in executing all necessary tasks to ensure accurate accounting and reporting for the company.
- Prepare timely monthly reports, financial forecasts, budgets, and cost calculations.
- Take charge of ongoing asset controlling in collaboration with internal departments and external partners.
- Support the controller in developing and enhancing relevant reports and processes to meet group reporting standards.
- Contribute to the design, testing, and implementation of SAP projects.
- Generate various weekly and monthly reports (e.g., volumes, sales, costs) and conduct ad hoc analyses to aid management in making informed decisions.
- Provide guidance to the accounting team in daily operations, including irregular bookings and new accounts.
- Perform additional ad hoc tasks as required.
Your Profile:
- Possess a relevant high school diploma or equivalent work experience; a university degree in Economics, Business Administration, or Accounting is a plus.
- Have experience in accounting and controlling, with a solid understanding of HGB accounting principles; knowledge of IFRS is advantageous.
- Be familiar with treasury and asset accounting.
- Demonstrate proficiency in using office automation systems for accounting and controlling purposes.
- Exhibit an independent working style complemented by analytical thinking and excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Possess a hands-on approach to tasks.
- Fluent in both written and spoken German and English; knowledge of Italian is a plus.
- Proficient in standard office software, particularly MS Office (Excel and Access), email, and internet applications.
- Familiarity with Hyperion Financial Management is desirable.
