Position Overview:
The International Sales Account Executive is tasked with representing Cytiva's bioprocess service offerings, serving as both a technical and commercial authority for service inquiries across designated accounts in Emerging Markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and nurture enduring relationships with key opinion leaders in customer organizations, addressing all service-related inquiries for Cytiva's bioprocess equipment and identifying emerging technical trends to propose advanced service solutions.
- Act as the internal technical advisor for Account Managers and Hardware Specialists on service-related issues, ensuring revenue generation by actively cultivating a sales pipeline for bioprocess components, service contracts, and billable services.
- Collaborate with Service Sales to create a tailored commercial offering that aligns with customer requirements, leading technical discussions with customer Subject Matter Experts, delivering product and scientific presentations, and representing Cytiva at relevant industry conferences.
- Take full ownership of the sales process, including complex negotiations with customers, particularly regarding upgrades for Cytiva's bioprocess equipment, which may involve correspondence in foreign languages.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and identify growth opportunities within the assigned territory, utilizing sales tools and applications effectively.
Candidate Profile:
- Residing in Germany or Austria.
- Possessing a university degree in biosciences/biotechnology or a Bachelor's degree in chemical, mechanical, or biochemical engineering, or biology, along with substantial hands-on experience in delivering bioprocess services.
- A self-motivated individual capable of managing time effectively and prioritizing tasks.
- Exceptional oral presentation and technical writing skills in both German and English.
- Strong commercial insight or a willingness to develop the necessary skills to identify and close sales opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A deeper understanding of the needs and business drivers of Biopharma clients, leveraging this knowledge to formulate account strategies.
- Experience in a matrix organizational structure, successfully managing multiple priorities.
