Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team at EDEKA Handelsgesellschaft Minden-Hannover mbH. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for managing our local transport route planning, dispatching delivery routes in the Berlin/Brandenburg area, and ensuring compliance with legal driving and rest times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation Planning: Develop and implement efficient transportation plans to meet customer demands and optimize logistics operations.
  • Route Optimization: Analyze and optimize delivery routes to reduce costs, improve delivery times, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to legal driving and rest times, as well as company policies and procedures, to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including transportation, warehouse, and customer service, to ensure seamless logistics operations.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Background in logistics, transportation management, or a related field, with a strong analytical mindset and ability to work in shifts.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Strong analytical skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in food wholesale/retail, team player with strong organizational skills, and ability to work in a dynamic and ever-changing environment.
