Bus Driver Trainee

Job Description

As a bus driver, you can expect a varied daily routine, working locally, ensuring a safe and comfortable journey for our passengers, and maintaining a calm head in challenging situations.

We are currently seeking a trainee bus driver (m/f/d) for a training program at Weser-Ems Busverkehr GmbH WEB in Aurich, Emden, or Leer (Ostfriesland) and surrounding areas.

What to Expect During the Training Program:

• You will receive a valid entry of the key number 95 in the driver's license card in accordance with the Federal Motor Vehicle Registration Ordinance (BKrFQG).
• You will obtain a bus driver's license in class D or DE.

After Completing Your Training, You Will Be Responsible for the Following Tasks:

• Safe and punctual execution of bus rides in line and school traffic.
• Providing information and advice to passengers on schedules, fares, and possible connections.
• Selling and controlling tickets.
• Checking the operational readiness of your vehicle, including technical systems.
• Ensuring order and cleanliness in your vehicle before and after your trips.

Your Profile:

• Willingness to obtain a bus driver's license.
• Valid car driver's license for at least 2 years.
• At least 21 years old.
• Good German language skills in writing and speaking.
• Willingness to work shifts (night, weekend, and holiday work).
• Customer friendliness, flexibility, and reliability.
