Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled PLC Programmer to join our team at GULP – experts united. As a key member of our automation team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Commissioning and configuring application technology hardware, including sensors, actuators, and control loops.
  • Programming and testing PLCs to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Carrying out process tests for plant safety and optimizing processes to improve quality, availability, and cycle time.
  • Developing and adapting application software to meet client needs.
  • Providing training and support to production and maintenance teams on PLC programming and control systems.
  • Handling and controlling complex automation projects from start to finish.
  • Diagnosing and resolving PLC faults to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training in a metal, IT, or electrical profession, or a degree in mechatronics, electrical, or automation engineering.
  • Proven experience in PLC programming, preferably in body-in-white production.
  • Knowledge of Siemens Step7 controllers and ability to create projects and see them through to final acceptance.
  • Familiarity with joining techniques used in body-in-white production.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and excellent written and spoken German skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
