Job Title: Large Scale IT Project Manager

At Vorwerk Services GmbH, we are seeking an experienced Large Scale IT Project Manager to lead our S/4 HANA transition project for 5 plants in 3 countries. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the technological transformation from the existing SAP ECC 6.0 landscape to the S/4 HANA target system for our production companies in alignment with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the S/4 HANA transition project for 5 plants in 3 countries
  • Responsible for all IT deliveries within the project, including solution design, implementation, test, deployment, and hypercare
  • Manage and motivate internal and external implementation teams
  • Monitor project progress, risks, and benefits, ensuring project completion on time and in line with scope, quality, and budget goals
  • Manage daily interaction with functional stakeholders, project managers, internal IT teams, and external implementation partners
  • Provide profound technical expertise to business process re-engineering at Vorwerk Engineering
  • Manage and effectively communicate expectations of stakeholder groups
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Business Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent disciplines
  • Proven, multi-year experience as IT project manager in large SAP ECC to S/4 HANA transitions in engineering and discrete manufacturing companies
  • Proficient knowledge of required technical changes in SAP ECC to S/4 HANA transitions
  • Relevant knowledge of different project approaches in conversions and selective data transitions
  • Proficient process expertise across SAP modules relevant for discrete manufacturing companies
  • Appropriate experience in applying agile and classic project management methods
  • Deep understanding of SAP technology, architecture, and strategy
  • Very good lateral management skills
  • Solution-oriented mindset and hands-on mentality
  • Adequate experience in balancing conflicting requirements with global cost-efficient delivery
  • Fluent German and English language skills
