Role Overview
As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability and efficiency of our IT systems and services. Your responsibilities will include:
- Fault Analysis and Resolution: You will engage in 2nd and 3rd level support, focusing on diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
- System Implementation and Maintenance: Your role will involve the implementation, administration, and ongoing maintenance of IT systems, particularly in relation to our central availability and performance monitoring systems.
- Documentation and Concept Development: You will design and implement operational concepts, ensuring comprehensive documentation is created and maintained for effective support.
- Project Management: You will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of IT projects, including their transition to operational phases, while managing external partners and service providers.
Key Qualifications
- A degree in (business) informatics or a similar field is essential.
- Proven experience in managing hybrid infrastructures (on-premise, multi-cloud, and hybrid cloud environments) and services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) is required.
- Experience with complex heterogeneous server infrastructures and application servers, along with knowledge of corporate solution implementations, is crucial.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Cloud technologies (including M365, Azure, AzureAD, AAD Connect, ExchangeOnPremise, and ExchangeOnline) is necessary, alongside familiarity with Windows Server technologies (Active Directory, File Services/DFS, Group Policies).
- Experience in implementing or operating availability and performance monitoring solutions is highly valued.
- Basic understanding of ITIL, project management processes, network technologies, and Windows PowerShell is beneficial.
- Familiarity with AI solutions and their implementation is a plus.
- Fluency in German and English is required for effective communication.
