Job Summary
Nordex Group is seeking a highly skilled Global Sourcing Manager to lead our global sourcing efforts for wind turbine components. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing global sourcing strategies that drive cost savings, quality improvements, and delivery excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement global sourcing strategies for wind turbine components, including market research, supplier selection, and supplier development.
- Define and negotiate global framework agreements with suppliers.
- Conduct cost analysis and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Manage global targets (cost, quality, delivery) within the material group.
Requirements
- University degree in business administration or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in strategic sourcing or a related field.
- Strategic thinking, negotiation skills, and assertiveness.
- Technical understanding of wind turbine components and supply chain management.
- Intercultural competency and ability to work in a global environment.
- Distinctive language skills (English essential; German or Spanish are a plus).
