Job Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing monthly and annual financial statements
  • Process invoices from suppliers, including filing
  • Manage document storage and retrieval
  • Prepare financial reports and decision-making documents for management
  • Maintain customer records, including new customer setup and appointment scheduling
  • Retrieve credit information from credit agencies
  • Submit reports to the state statistics office
  • Verify customer credit limits with our credit insurer
  • Perform general accounting tasks
  • Process incoming mail
  • Verify, inspect, and count incoming invoices
  • Record invoices in the invoice register
  • Monitor and control ongoing accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Conduct regular account reconciliations
  • Manage customer accounts and debt collection
Requirements
  • Completed commercial apprenticeship, preferably with a focus on accounting
  • At least 2 years of experience in financial accounting and taxation
  • Practical experience in financial and accounting processes
  • Familiarity with DATEV Unternehmen Online is desirable
  • Good MS Office skills, particularly in Excel
  • Quick understanding and a meticulous, careful, and solution-oriented working style
  • Teamwork and customer orientation
  • Fluent German language skills in writing and speaking
  • Good English language skills in writing and speaking
  • Interpersonal skills are expected
