Research Analyst

Leica Microsystems is seeking a highly skilled Senior FP&A Analyst to join our Global Innovation FP&A Team at our headquarters in Wetzlar. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving business impact and growth through financial planning and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the R&D organization in monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes.
• Collaborate with project managers to develop business plans for new product developments.
• Assist with subsidy and R&D grant application processes from a financial perspective.

Requirements:

• University degree in Finance or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of experience in FP&A or controlling within a manufacturing and R&D environment.
• Excellent technical knowledge and ability to build consistent reporting and modeling in Power BI and Excel.
• Fluent in German and English.
