Aircraft Maintenance Coordinator

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Coordinator to join our team at DHL Express in Leipzig. As a key member of our aviation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of work documents, ordering necessary tools and spare parts, and coordinating with other departments to ensure timely execution of work packages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and process work packages and work orders for aircraft under maintenance at EATL
  • Check documentation required for execution, such as AMM, IPC, SRM, WDM, etc., for current revision status
  • Review technical and content completeness of check packages
  • Ensure availability of spare parts and tools for planned work orders
  • Plan and organize personnel, qualifications, ground time, hall space, special equipment, and required spare parts for corresponding work packages
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other involved areas for timely execution of work packages and individual maintenance events
Requirements
  • Completed university studies and several years of relevant professional experience or many years of relevant professional experience as an aircraft mechanic, electronics technician, maintenance, engine technician
  • Type rating according to EASA Part 66 B1/B2 or comparable qualification on the types A300-600, B757, B767, or B777
  • Very good knowledge of English and German
  • Very good knowledge of manufacturer documentation (IPC, AMM, SRM WDM, etc.)
  • Very good knowledge of software applications TRAX, AMOS, AIMS, as well as MS-Office applications
  • Willingness to work in shifts
  • Ability to work under stressful situations
  • Ability to identify priorities in parallel jobs
  • Ability to work in a team
