Regional Supply Chain Operations Manager

Overview of the Position
As the Regional Logistics Manager, you will oversee and direct the logistics, transportation, and warehouse operations across Europe (UK & EU). This role is integral to our Supply Chain Management Organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate business needs, identify current process and system discrepancies, explore alternative solutions, and develop systems and processes to enhance logistics operational performance.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure cohesive logistics integration across all business units, optimizing the overall logistics 'cost-to-serve'.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for efficient freight management and logistics operations, focusing on process and cost optimization.
- Lead and drive continuous improvement initiatives in all logistics operations and processes to meet quality and efficiency targets, ensuring best practices are followed with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee third-party service providers, ensuring that operations are executed efficiently in accordance with agreements and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to support business growth.
- Manage the organizational and technical aspects of the logistics team.
- Hold overall responsibility for the functionality and performance of group operations, including safety and maintenance protocols.
- Additional responsibilities include inventory management, compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SoX) controls, audit management, logistics budgeting, cost distribution, return logistics, and customs clearance operations.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, or transportation within an international freight forwarding environment.
- Proficient in ERP applications, with expertise in SAP WM/MM/SD.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Fluent in English and German.
- Excellent communication skills.
- High level of responsibility and determination.
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen to address complex challenges.
