IT Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior System Administrator to join our dynamic and innovative team at Helpling GmbH & Co. KG. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our systems and infrastructure.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
- Troubleshooting technical issues related to network connectivity, server performance, and software applications.
- Performing routine system maintenance tasks such as system backups, software updates, and security patches.
- Providing end-user support and responding to technical inquiries via internal communication channels.
- Collaborating with team members to identify areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance system performance and reliability.
- Maintaining accurate documentation of all IT-related activities, including system configurations, troubleshooting steps, and user manuals.
- Working with other departments to ensure seamless integration of IT systems with business operations.
- You have successfully completed training as an IT specialist or in the field of system integration and have gained initial experience in heterogeneous IT environments.
- You are familiar with user support and have a basic understanding of programming languages.
- You have experience with setting up networks (VLAN, VPN) and are familiar with the administration of Windows and OSX systems (software installation, hardware maintenance).
- You are a reliable and motivated individual who can juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- You enjoy working in an international and dynamic environment and are able to adapt to new situations.
