We are seeking a highly motivated master student to join our team at the BMW Group and contribute to the development of innovative machine learning solutions. As a master thesis candidate, you will have the opportunity to work on a cutting-edge project that focuses on optimizing machine learning models for automotive innovations.

About the Project

The project aims to develop and optimize techniques for continuous learning and data acquisition within machine learning operations frameworks. This will involve researching state-of-the-art continuous learning methods, implementing novel approaches, and evaluating their effectiveness using our cutting-edge training infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and develop novel continuous learning methods for machine learning models
  • Implement and evaluate these methods using our PyTorch-based research stack
  • Collaborate with an experienced team of researchers and developers
  • Present research results using the scientific method

Requirements

  • Master's degree in computer science or related field with focus on machine learning or artificial intelligence
  • Strong knowledge in computer vision concepts and tasks
  • Excellent programming skills in Python and PyTorch
  • Experience with modern programming environment tools such as Docker and Git
  • Fluent English language skills
