Adult Education Instructor for Hamburg Center

Position Overview:

The Adult Education Instructor at the Hamburg center plays a crucial role in overseeing the Adult Education program. This position encompasses a variety of responsibilities aimed at supporting adult learners in their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and assist new clients entering the center.
  • Manage the check-in process for students and visitors, including maintaining health safety logs.
  • Conduct sanitation tasks to ensure a safe learning environment.
  • Organize and schedule students for the TABE assessment.
  • Monitor student attendance and provide guidance to educators regarding student progress.
  • Administer TABE and GED readiness assessments.
  • Coordinate all GED testing schedules.
  • Complete intake procedures for each student.
  • Maintain comprehensive student records and files.
  • Accurately input data into the LACES system.
  • Engage in recruitment and retention initiatives.
  • Keep an accurate log of communications.
  • Ensure consistent attendance and participation in mandatory faculty and state meetings.

Qualifications:

Applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree and hold a valid Arkansas Teaching License.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is between $20.00 and $25.00 per hour.
