Overview
We are seeking a dedicated professional for the "Master Data Management" department to fill the role of "Data Quality Manager" (m/f/d) within the Data Quality division. This department oversees the comprehensive management of master data across the organization, which includes operational oversight of cross-departmental master data, governance, and quality assurance, as well as the implementation of a centralized master data governance tool as part of the S4 HANA core initiative.Key Responsibilities
Assessing the business implications of current and emerging data requirements while formulating strategies and initiatives to evaluate data quality. Driving continuous enhancement and evolution of data quality standards, while proactively identifying shifts in business and industry needs. Establishing data quality benchmarks and ensuring their integration within the global framework. Creating a comprehensive strategy for gathering data quality regulations to assess data quality and effectively executing routine and ad hoc data quality evaluations in local systems. Conducting thorough analyses of data, data structures, and quality metrics in close collaboration with data custodians to generate global data quality reports. Defining actionable strategies to elevate data quality. Researching and assessing innovative solutions in automation and artificial intelligence. Participating in the S4 HANA project related to master data management, particularly in migration and data pre-cleaning efforts.Candidate Profile
Degree in computer science, business informatics, or a related field. Extensive experience in project management, complemented by PMI certification. Proven track record in data quality management within an international context. Experience in initiating and executing data cleansing initiatives. In-depth understanding of the (SAP) data model along with data quality and protection management methodologies. Ability to develop strategies and concepts, including fostering communication and cultural transformation. Proficient in MS Office, SQL, and BI tools. Strong team collaboration skills, assertiveness, and proactive initiative. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Fluent in both German and English, with additional language skills such as French being advantageous.We Offer
