Role Overview
As a working student specializing in UX/UI design within our Strategic Projects Team, you will engage in groundbreaking initiatives that highlight the advantages of the SAP Business Technology Platform. Under the guidance of experienced designers, you will investigate various design alternatives, develop storyboards, user flows, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate your concepts to the development team. You will also have the opportunity to interact directly with users, conducting essential tasks such as user research, user testing, experience mapping, and creating high-fidelity UI designs and prototypes. Additionally, you will assist the team in crafting clear and impactful visualizations for technical presentations.
We seek a design student who possesses a comprehensive understanding of the UX and UI design processes and can contribute to software development projects at every stage, ensuring an exceptional user experience.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled (f/m/d) at a university or university of applied sciences in Interface Design, User Experience Design, Interaction Design, or a related discipline
- An online design portfolio showcasing both UX and UI projects
Preferred Skills:
- Strong grasp of the design process and associated methodologies, including Design Thinking, User Research, Usability Testing, and Prototyping across various fidelities
- Enthusiasm for transforming complex challenges into elegant, user-friendly solutions while adhering to UX/UI design principles
- Keen attention to detail, particularly in UI and Visual Design
- Proficiency in creating low and high-fidelity prototypes using design tools (e.g., Figma)
- Experience in designing for AR/VR applications is advantageous
- Familiarity with Data Visualizations is a plus
Language Proficiency:
- Fluent in German or English (both written and spoken)
Soft Skills:
- Eager to learn about emerging technologies

Work Experience:

About Your Team
The Strategic Projects team operates at the core of the 'Business Technology Platform (BTP) Foundation Engineering' unit. We concentrate on innovative solutions for cross-BTP topics and the enhancement of BTP products and services. Our team prepares keynotes and provides expert insights on strategic BTP technology subjects, collaborating closely with other SAP teams to achieve our objectives.
