Audio-Visual Systems Technician

Position: Audio-Visual Systems Technician

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation, cabling, and activation of devices within the professional media technology domain (including projectors, LED displays, monitors, interactive screens, and sound systems)
  • Configuration and setup of devices in media environments
  • Construction and wiring of 19-inch media racks
  • Calibration and programming of diverse audio equipment
  • Supporting the project manager in developing block diagrams, cable lists, and rack layouts
  • Diagnosing and resolving technical challenges with media systems while assisting users with their inquiries
  • Maintenance and servicing of existing installations
Candidate Profile
  • Completed vocational training in IT, communication technology, event technology, audio-visual technology, electrical engineering, or related fields
  • Strong technical and manual capabilities
  • Familiarity and experience in audio-visual technology
  • Experience with media control systems (e.g., AMX, Crestron) and video conferencing solutions is a plus
  • Preferably, programming experience with Extron/Crestron systems and Biamp Audio-DSPs
  • High level of service and customer focus
  • Valid Class B driver's license (mandatory) and a trailer license is advantageous
