We are seeking an experienced Telecommunications Technician to join our team at U.S. Army Europe and Africa. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and executing tasks related to telecommunications and data transmission systems.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and execute tasks related to telecommunications and data transmission systems
- Install, maintain, and repair communication systems and networks
- Work with various types of cables and systems, including fiber optic cables
- Monitor and ensure the functionality of communication systems and networks
- Work in various environments, including outdoor and indoor settings
- Minimum 30-month vocational training in the relevant trade
- 5 years of relevant work experience
- 2 years of work experience in the pay grade 5 or equivalent
- 3 years of relevant work experience in the pay grade 6 or equivalent
- Multiple permanent full-time positions (38.5 hours/week)
- On-call duty required
- Occasional business travel required
