About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead the Global Interconnection Academy, a pioneering collaboration between DE-CIX and Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF). As the Manager of Global Interconnection Education, you will be responsible for shaping and developing the further growth of the Academy, fostering a community of Interconnection experts, stakeholders, and content providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies for the success of the Academy and its training programs worldwide.
  • Manage and expand the community of Interconnection experts, stakeholders, and content providers.
  • Bring complex technical contexts to a broad audience and develop innovative digital educational offerings.
  • Lead different stakeholders to joint success and foster a collaborative environment.
Requirements
  • At least five years of experience in the interconnection industry (Sales or Marketing), ideally in combination with initial exposure to the academic world.
  • Excellent communication skills in at least two languages (English and Spanish), negotiation skills, and the talent to lead different stakeholders to joint success.
  • A strong passion for innovative digital educational offerings and the ability to bring complex technical contexts to a broad audience.
