About the Role

Versar is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Site Manager to join our team in Stuttgart, Germany. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of our services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the management of site operations, including the coordination of staff, resources, and logistics.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff members.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of business growth strategies.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
  • Ensure the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date records and reports.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the aviation or logistics industry.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in computer software and systems, including Microsoft Office and other relevant tools.
  • Valid driver's license and passport.
  • CAC eligibility and ability to gain authorized entry onto US military installations.

  • Leadership and organization skills, with the ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
  • Action-oriented with a strong ability to work in a fluid and fast-moving environment.
  • Experience in developing, managing, and delivering technical services in an aerospace/defense, aviation, logistics, or technical services/Government Services environment.
  • Knowledge of the TAS contract and ability to facilitate on-time aircraft departures and maintain sustained ground handling services.
