This program offers multiple internship positions within the General Social Services, Guardianship Office, and Support Services for adults with disabilities, designed as a developmental pathway to achieve State recognition as a Social Worker or Social Pedagogue. Internships are available at various entry points throughout the year.
Key Areas of Focus:General Social Services:
- Guidance on relationship, separation, and divorce matters
- Support in custody matters and family court processes
- Adoption and stepchild adoption services
- Referral for appropriate youth support initiatives
- Protective measures for minors facing abuse
- Acting as a legal guardian
- Youth support during legal proceedings
- Foster care management
Guardianship Office:
- Drafting assessments for guardianship court assistance along with administrative duties
- Emphasis on alternative support in accordance with the subsidiarity principle
- Identifying and appointing suitable caregivers in collaboration with guardianship organizations
- Providing guidance and support for caregivers and authorized representatives
- Engaging in networking and cross-functional collaboration
- Public relations in guardianship law and advance directives, in partnership with relevant associations
Support Services for Adults with Disabilities:
- Overseeing the planning process for individuals with disabilities in adult integration services
- Enhancing social work through the development of resources and support systems
- Collaborating with colleagues in the General Social Services department and the Guardianship Office
Qualifications:
- Degree in Social Work or Social Pedagogy
- Strong understanding of social legislation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Innovative thinking and adaptability
- Dedication to teamwork and commitment
- Proficient in IT applications
- Valid driver's license
