Job Summary

We are seeking a highly talented Software Engineering working student (Frontend or Fullstack) to join our growing tech team. As part of a cross-functional team in the B2C domain, you will implement frontend or fullstack solutions for our customers, improving our Heartbeat App and the underlying backend services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to deliver high-quality software solutions
  • Discover, evaluate, implement, and deploy software solutions for our core customer-facing products
  • Maintain business-critical applications and ensure seamless user experience
  • Implement and test A/B experiments to improve website performance and lead conversion rates
  • Take end-to-end ownership of features and drive innovation within the team
  • Improve customer satisfaction by reducing tech debt, improving quality, and building software people love to use

Requirements
  • Enrolled at a university and contributing 20 hours per week
  • Studying Computer Science or a comparable course of studies
  • Experience writing reliable production frontend services with React, TypeScript, and Vercel
  • Passionate about writing maintainable, documented, reusable, and testable code
  • Excited about improving user experience and driving customer conversion
  • Finger on the pulse of software engineering trends and eager to learn industry best practices
  • Agile and result-oriented mindset, with a strong team player attitude
  • Very good written and spoken English skills. German is a plus.
