Senior Financial Accountant

GAB-Solution GmbH, a prominent personnel consulting firm, is currently seeking a skilled and committed Senior Financial Accountant (m/w/d) to enhance the financial team of a reputable medium-sized enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management: Oversee all facets of financial management, encompassing accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and asset accounting.
  • Financial Reporting: Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with HGB standards.
  • Transaction Oversight: Manage and supervise all payment processes and collection efforts.
  • Account Reconciliation: Conduct regular account reconciliations and address any discrepancies.
  • Tax Compliance: Assist in the preparation of tax filings and facilitate tax audits.
  • Financial Planning: Participate in the budgeting process and financial forecasting.
  • Management Reporting: Create financial analyses and reports for executive management.
  • External Relations: Collaborate with tax advisors, auditors, and financial regulatory bodies.
Required Qualifications:
  • Completed vocational training with further qualifications in financial accounting or a degree in business administration with a specialization in accounting or finance.
  • Extensive experience in financial accounting, preferably within a medium-sized organization.
  • In-depth knowledge of German tax regulations and HGB.
  • Proficient in standard accounting software, ideally DATEV.
  • Strong skills in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Analytical thinking and a methodical work style.
  • High level of initiative, dependability, and teamwork.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to clarify complex topics.
