Senior Security Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Security Engineer to join our team at THRYVE, a leading Fintech company in Germany. As a Senior Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and improve our architecture to identify potential vulnerabilities and risks
  • Maintain documentation required for Governance and Compliance
  • Perform pentesting and API security testing as needed
  • Recommend best security practices for software development

Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience in security pen testing, including identifying and understanding common application security vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10)
  • Ability to work independently and contribute proactively in a global team environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presenting skills to concisely communicate security risks to technical and business audiences
