About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Mechatronics Engineer (m/w/d) to join our team at our Elsterwerda location. As a Mechatronics Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our machinery and equipment, as well as the optimization of our production processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment, including Spritzgießmaschinen, Robotern, and zugehöriger Peripherie
• Preventive maintenance and optimization of production machines, Druckluft- und Kälteanlagen
• Implementation of planned upgrades and optimization of products after production start
• Localization and resolution of errors and malfunctions in machines and systems (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic)
• Testing and commissioning of systems, performance of sample runs
• Optimization of processes (cycle times, rejects, energy consumption, etc.)

Requirements

• Completed training in Mechatronics or Industrial Mechanics
• First practical work experience in an industrial company or in the special machinery industry
• Desirable experience in the plastics industry
• Good knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
• Good knowledge of analog and digital drive technology
• Knowledge in the areas of SPS control systems
• Good understanding, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Performance readiness and resilience
• Willingness to work in shifts (2-shift model) and possibly on weekends
• English language skills are an asset
