The company specializes in the design, production, installation, and maintenance of wind turbines, having achieved the highest installation of wind power worldwide.Position Overview:
  • SCADA Engineer (m/f/d)
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver SCADA and power plant system engineering, including functional design specifications, configuration, and layout in accordance with contractual obligations.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive SCADA and power plant system documentation, including as-built records.
  • Create and manage test documentation for the entire SCADA system.
  • Oversee that all testing activities on both virtual and physical environments are conducted as per the established plan.
  • Foster collaboration and teamwork with SCADA specialists, network experts, and hardware engineers.
  • Assemble SCADA hardware either at a subcontractor's facility or within Vestas' department.
  • Conduct commissioning tasks at client locations in partnership with SCADA specialists.
  • Supervise the installation of SCADA panels at substations and similar sites.
Qualifications:
  • Background in electro-technical or electrical engineering with a solid foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects.
  • Hands-on experience with SCADA technologies, panel assembly, and grid calculations.
  • Technical expertise in industrial automation.
  • Proficient in the design and implementation of SCADA and electrical control systems for industrial automation initiatives.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining technical documentation for SCADA, network, process control, and data exchange installations.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
