About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at inovex GmbH. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and developing robust and scalable data-driven applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to help clients from various industries make their data usable.
  • Work closely with clients to advise on the technical feasibility and implementation of their digital innovations.
  • Design and develop the foundation of data-driven applications, creating robust and maintainable architectures.
  • Ensure efficient and secure system interactions, aligning with client requirements.
  • Plan and develop data platforms, data processing procedures, or data services, considering future high availability and scalability in the cloud, on-premise, or hybrid environments.
  • Implement automated testing procedures (unit testing, CI/CD, end-to-end testing, etc.) to ensure continuous quality control and optimization.
  • Maintain the security of developed data systems.
  • As an architect or technical lead, select and implement suitable technologies, ensure data integrity and security, and facilitate effective collaboration with other teams and stakeholders to achieve client goals through data-driven solutions.
Technical Requirements
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, Java, and other relevant technologies.
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with Flask, Spring, FastAPI, and other frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Databricks, Spark, Kafka, Airflow, dbt, BigQuery, or Snowflake.
  • Experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes.
About You
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on data-driven applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in German (C1 level) and English.
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.
