Occupational Medicine Specialist in Training

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified medical professional to join our Health and Safety division at Mercedes-Benz AG. As an Occupational Medicine Specialist in Training, you will play a crucial role in supporting the health and performance of our workforce.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct occupational health screenings and check-ups to identify potential health risks and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Examine and advise employees with work-related problems and long-term illnesses, providing guidance on return-to-work strategies and accommodations.
- Develop and implement ability profiles to assess employee capabilities and identify areas for improvement.
- Support occupational integration management by collaborating with HR and management to develop and implement return-to-work plans.
- Advise managers and functionaries on health-related matters, providing guidance on employee well-being and workplace safety.
- Provide medical care for employees in the event of accidents and acute illnesses, including emergency response and first aid.
- Staff the company's emergency ambulance and participate in emergency response training.
- Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments in collaboration with occupational health and safety teams.
- Contribute to ergonomic improvements and the further development of workplace health promotion initiatives.
- Participate in the design of workplaces and the creation of individual job suitability profiles.
- Completed studies in human medicine.
- German license to practice medicine.
- At least 12 months of completed clinical specialist training in an area of direct patient care.
- Additional qualification in emergency medicine or emergency medical services.
- Strong interest in preventive medicine.
- Familiarity with standard Office applications (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
- German and English language skills.
- Ability to work in a team, initiative, sense of responsibility, high willingness to learn, and commitment.
