Position Overview:
Cymotive is seeking a dedicated Cybersecurity Risk Analyst to enhance our Security Risk and Architecture Domain. This role focuses on comprehending the complexities of future vehicle systems and assessing potential risks that could compromise their security. The ideal candidate will stay informed about contemporary attack vectors and vulnerabilities pertinent to the automotive sector, while also developing and maintaining comprehensive threat catalogues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough risk assessments for specific modules and comprehensive end-to-end systems, beginning from the conceptual phase, encompassing the entire vehicle ecosystem, including vehicle ECUs, functionalities, connectivity, backend, and mobile interfaces.
- Establish and maintain detailed threat catalogues that cover both technological aspects (such as cryptography, software integrity, and communication manipulation) and domain-specific areas (including autonomous driving, infotainment, powertrain, and core connectivity).
- Design and implement robust technical security controls and security requirements tailored to the assessed risks.
- Formulate and execute security concepts based on the outcomes of risk assessments.
- Oversee the integration of security concepts within the overall architectural framework.
- Ensure compliance with automotive-specific cybersecurity regulations through effective governance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, CISA, CompTia Security+).
- A minimum of three years of experience in IT system risk analysis or related IT security roles across at least two domains.
- Proficiency in at least two of the following areas: network communications, cryptography, identity management, application security, code analysis/penetration testing, and cloud security.
- Ability to independently lead projects and coordinate a multidisciplinary team of specialists.
- Strong analytical skills with a capacity for first-principles thinking and the development of complex theoretical models.
- Fluency in both German and English (reading, writing, speaking).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience within the automotive industry or IoT.
- Expertise in solution design.
