The Zentrum für Personaldienste (ZPD Hamburg) is responsible for payments, services, and IT solutions in the HR sector of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg.
Within the HR Reporting division, we handle a wide range of analyses related to personnel management, from basic employee lists for personnel administration to interactive personnel reports available on the intranet. We operate multiple data warehouses, sourcing data from operational systems and utilizing various tools for analysis.
In the "Evaluations and Analysis" department, we address all requests from our clients and implement them using appropriate IT tools. This includes generating reports for the city's HR departments, specialized reports for personnel controlling or time management, specific inquiries on special topics from the HR sector, and both large and small requests directed to the Senate. Data protection for our reporting products is also a key focus at ZPD 61.
Due to the handling of confidential information, a security clearance is required for this position.

- You will develop various reports for the decentralized HR departments of the city's authorities, state-owned enterprises, and universities.
- You will provide technical advice to the relevant authority regarding the implementation of reports.
- You will maintain existing reports and correct errors as necessary.
- You will assist in the development of small in-house applications based on VBA.
Required Qualifications
- University degree (Bachelor or equivalent) in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent skills and experience, along with relevant professional experience in the areas outlined in the job description, or
- Completed training as an IT specialist, systems computer scientist, IT systems salesperson, IT systems electronics technician, or equivalent skills and experience, each with four years of relevant professional experience in the areas outlined in the job description, or
- As a civil servant: qualification for the second career group, first entry-level position in the field of General Services

Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, VBA, or another programming language.
- You enjoy working independently, goal-oriented, and meticulously, and can also step up when clients have urgent needs.
- You have prior experience in the reporting field and are enthusiastic about new IT developments and modern work methodologies such as Scrum.
- You can empathize with your clients and delight them with tailored products.
