Senior Aviation Support Engineer - ERP Specialist (d/m/w)
The Support Center is looking for expertise in the A400M Ground Support Service (GSS). This role involves working with the fleet operations management system (MDS), which records and manages maintenance and configuration data for the A400M military transport aircraft. You will provide support to both the German Air Force and internal Airbus departments in planning, maintenance, support, and process optimization of the MDS to ensure airworthiness.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and support for CAMO in addressing operational challenges
- Independently manage, coordinate, and respond to inquiries from the Air Force regarding the A400M operations management system, collaborating closely with international Airbus locations
- Validate new software versions for operational management, ensuring all functions are tested and results are coordinated with the customer
- Develop and refine technical concepts in collaboration with the Air Force
- Define new operational management requirements and functionalities in partnership with the Air Force
- Participate in the development and delivery of training for the operational management system (MDS) for both the German Air Force and Airbus personnel
- Continuously update configuration and reference data for the A400M fleet within the operations management system
- Assist in the creation of digital solutions as part of In-Service Support (ISS) projects
Qualifications
- Completed technical education or equivalent qualifications
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel
- Familiarity with operational management systems, such as AMOS or SAP, is advantageous
- Understanding of aviation procedures and processes, particularly in maintenance and CAMO
- Excellent customer service orientation, along with strong communication and presentation abilities
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of German is a plus
