Integration Technology Specialist

The position of a Technology Integration Expert involves the design and execution of interfaces connecting internal systems with external partners, as well as enhancing existing connections. The role includes providing first and second level support for EDI and API-related incidents across a network of over 300 external business partners and more than 60 internal software systems within the European region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and configure workflow-based interfaces, including the mapping of standard formats such as EDIFACT, IDOC, JSON, X.12, XML, and others, as well as custom formats into our internal structure or directly into the target format.
- Familiarity with communication protocols including AS2, OFTP, SFTP, and API.
- Oversee project management, functional and integration testing, and maintain comprehensive implementation and change documentation.
- Conduct patching, maintenance, and configuration adjustments of middleware software.
- Analyze incidents and implement corrective measures.
- Monitor alert notifications from middleware systems and the service desk, resolving or escalating issues as necessary.
Required Qualifications:
- Completed professional training or a Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience and knowledge in EDI message types and protocols for electronic data interchange, and/or expertise in API-based communication.
- Experience with EDI middleware, particularly Lobster data and/or Boomi.
- Understanding of network technology and security.
- Strong multitasking and prioritization abilities.
- Excellent time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with change management and control processes.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
