About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Manager to join our team at Valeo. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating international product policy, analyzing competitor products, and preparing market and competition analyses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate international product policy and ensure alignment with global development and application teams
  • Analyze international competitor products and provide findings to responsible company departments
  • Prepare market and competition analyses with associated market and technology drivers
  • Implement global product launches and coordinate the definition/specification of new products
  • Document and verify the product portfolio of Valeo Thermal Commercial Vehicles Germany GmbH with regard to costs, technology, and areas of application
  • Define product roadmaps based on product portfolio analysis
  • Coordinate the naming of new product names and associated central brochures

Requirements

  • Completed studies in economics or industrial engineering or comparable degree programs
  • First professional experience in a comparable position desirable
  • Strong contact and communication skills with customers and internal departments
  • Technical curiosity combined with innovative enthusiasm
  • Analytical approach and a forward-looking way of thinking and acting
  • Very good written and spoken English and German, other foreign languages an advantage
  • Willingness to travel internationally
