Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician:in / Mechatronics Technician:in / IT System Electronics Technician:in as Service Technician:in to join our team at DB Kommunikationstechnik GmbH.

Your Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for installing, programming, and commissioning information systems, including Fahrgastinformationsanlagen (FIA), Zeitdienstanlagen (ZDA), and Elektroakustische Lautsprecheranlagen (ELA).
• You will perform maintenance and repairs on these systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
• You will conduct regular maintenance and inspections on the systems, following established guidelines and manufacturer specifications.
• You will work independently to complete assigned tasks and projects.
• You will update and create documentation for the systems, including installation and maintenance records.
• You will use a smartphone and tablet for communication, task management, and documentation.
• You will use a company vehicle for work-related travel.

Your Profile:

• You have completed a degree in Telecommunications or a related field, such as IT System Electronics.
• You have experience in the field of information systems and possess basic IT knowledge.
• You are willing to participate in a training program and obtain a qualification in a specific area.
• You are self-motivated, customer-focused, and responsible in your work.
• You enjoy challenging and varied tasks.
• You hold a valid driver's license for the class B vehicle.
• You have excellent German language skills.
