Job Description

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer:in / Technician:in for the Qualification Program for Planner:in (w/m/d) for the DB Kommunikationstechnik GmbH at our locations in Berlin, Dresden, Erfurt, or Leipzig. Your Responsibilities:

• During the six-month qualification phase, you will undergo both practical and theoretical phases at various national locations, where you will learn about the System Bahn and the technical foundations for planning and projects of the DB Kommunikationstechnik.
• As a planner:in, you will develop design, approval, and implementation plans (planning according to HOAI, VV Bau STE, recognized rules of technology, other regulations) for telecommunications systems in the rail sector.
• You are responsible for conducting on-site measurements of existing radio coverage with high-quality measurement equipment and evaluating the results.
• You will provide technical support for acceptance with customers, subcontractors, and regulatory approval authorities.
• Creating customer-specific technical and economic solution concepts is also part of your tasks.
• You will also contribute to project documentation.

Your Profile:

• You hold a successfully completed degree in a relevant field or a technician's or master's degree in electrical engineering, telecommunications engineering, information technology, business engineering (electrical engineering), telecommunications, or a comparable field.
• Ideally, you bring planning knowledge and practical experience in a technical environment.
• Knowledge of HOAI and VOB is an advantage.
• You are characterized by a customer- and service-oriented way of thinking.
• You are familiar with the usual MS Office applications.
• You bring excellent German language skills in writing and speaking.
• You are willing to undertake multi-day trips during the six-month qualification phase.
