This role presents a remarkable opportunity to collaborate with a diverse team, guiding a product from initial concept through to full-scale production. Responsibilities encompass the formulation of test strategies to ensure compliance with datasheet specifications, as well as managing qualification plans to meet various JEDEC/AEC quality benchmarks. You will also oversee product quality evaluations through rigorous reliability assessments.
Key Responsibilities
- Comprehensive ownership of the product lifecycle from inception to retirement, emphasizing the delivery of superior quality products to our customers.
- Establishing ATE testing, qualification, and manufacturing strategies.
- Facilitating product transitions into manufacturing while adhering to stringent tier 1 customer specifications.
- Generating datasheets and automotive compliance documentation.
- Providing real-time support to customers regarding design, product, and quality inquiries.
- Conducting temperature, voltage, and process characterizations while setting production limits.
- Managing new product introductions and yield optimization.
- Overseeing the release and upkeep of product BOMs.
- Addressing excursions for both suppliers and customers.
- Utilizing yield enhancement tools for monitoring and improvement, producing weekly performance reports for review with the product engineering teams.
- Achieving KPIs related to product deliverables, including new product introduction execution, cost management, product quality metrics, and failure analysis turnaround times.
- Optimizing PAT, SYL, SBL, and SPC limits to maintain quality while minimizing waste.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in product engineering, with a solid foundation in analog circuits. Familiarity with mixed-signal testing is advantageous.
- Experience with ATE tester platforms (e.g., Teradyne J750, Advantest 93K).
- In-depth knowledge of analog and mixed-signal circuitry, device physics, testing methodologies, and DFT principles.
- Proficiency with standard laboratory testing equipment (DC power supplies, oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.). Bench characterization experience is a plus.
- Understanding of JEDEC/AEC qualification standards and stress testing protocols; experience in qualification hardware/software development is preferred.
- Familiarity with yield management tools such as PDF Exensio and JMP, with the ability to apply statistical analysis for problem-solving.
- Capability to manage supplier excursions and customer escalations through effective problem resolution.
- Knowledge of semiconductor failure analysis is desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A collaborative team player, thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
- Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering is preferred.
