Job Summary

The Flight Instructor will perform ground and flight instruction, ensuring the timely delivery of the training program, safety standards, and professional training quality. This role requires a high level of expertise and experience in aviation training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct flight training for students in both airplanes and simulators, including pre- and post-flight briefings
  • Complete training records and grading within an appropriate system
  • Participate in training reviews and standardization meetings as required
  • Perform duties as a Theoretical Knowledge Instructor as required

Requirements

  • Degree from a specialized trade or technical school
  • Profound job-related experience, preferably as a Flight Instructor or Flight Examiner
  • Teaching experience within a large, professional flight academy
  • Preferably military aviation background
  • Excellent English skills
  • Must hold the following licenses:
    • EASA Part-MED license with first class privileges
    • EASA Commercial Pilot License CPL (A) with valid MEP (Land) and associated Instrument Rating (IR)
    • EASA PBN approval
    • EASA Flight Instructor FI (A) rating with at least MEP/IR and Night extensions
  • The ideal candidate has logged a minimum flight hours of: TTL 1500
  • IFR: 500 (excluding simulator)
  • ME: 500, of which 250 hours must be on MEP (Land) airplanes
  • Ability to obtain a (German) secret security clearance (ZÜP)
