Medical Professional: Medical Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated medical professional to join our team at the Kreis Steinfurt. As a medical specialist, you will play a key role in the prevention and control of infectious diseases, as well as the promotion of public health.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct investigations and assessments of infectious diseases
- Exercise hygiene oversight, including inspections of hospitals, care facilities, and medical practices
- Enforce measures to prevent the spread of infectious diseases and promote public health
- Hold a medical degree with or without specialized training
- Two years of clinical experience is an asset
- Excellent social skills, teamwork abilities, and communication and enforcement skills are essential
- Hold a valid driver's license and be willing to use a private vehicle for work-related purposes
- Be willing to work in all areas of public health
- Compensation: Salary will be based on pay grade 14 TVöD (Tariff Agreement for the Public Sector) without specialized training, or pay grade 15 TVöD with specialized training, resulting in a salary range of €5,003.84 - €7,132.13 or €5,504 - €7,748, respectively, plus a €300 specialist allowance (TVöD). The possibility of being taken into the civil service is also available (salary grade A 13/A 14 LBesG NRW).
- Flexible Work Schedule: With flexible working hours and the option to work remotely, you can tailor your work schedule to suit your needs. You will not be required to work on weekends or public holidays.
- Vacation Time: You will be entitled to 30 days of annual leave, plus two bonus days, as Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve are public holidays.
