Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Head of Supply Chain Management to join our team at Gas Chromatography Systems MAXUM GmbH in Karlsruhe. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our Supply Chain Management team in the areas of Order Management, Warehouse, Order Controlling, and Purchasing.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team in the area of Supply Chain Management, overseeing Order Management, Warehouse, Order Controlling, and Purchasing.
  • Report to the management and ensure seamless communication with internal stakeholders.
  • Manage Order Management, including order entry, review of master data, procurement of spare parts, creation of production orders, and scheduling of customer orders.
  • Oversee Warehouse operations, including transfer posting of goods, commissioning of goods, labeling, and preparation for shipping.
  • Ensure effective Order Controlling, including active deadline tracking, creation of production plans, and coordination with Operations.
  • Manage Purchasing, including procurement of materials, communication with suppliers, ordering via ERP systems, and invoice verification and approval.
Requirements:
  • Many years of experience in order processing in a manufacturing company.
  • Experience in working with ERP systems such as SAP.
  • Fluent language skills in German and English.
